This notice describes what CIT's website currently does. It does not add a certification, fixed retention period, or legal promise that CIT has not verified.
Information you choose to provide
Contact and quote forms can collect your name, email address, optional phone number, service interest, budget range, and the project details you enter. The chatbot can collect your messages and conversation history, then ask for your name, email address, phone number, and service interest when you want a follow-up.
Website and attribution information
The site uses Google Analytics and PostHog to measure page views and interactions. PostHog receives route and campaign context but not the personal details entered into forms. When you send an enquiry, CIT also records available first-touch context such as the landing page, referring page, campaign parameters, click identifiers, and the site hostname. The browser keeps this context for the current session so it can accompany your request.
How submitted information is handled
- Appwrite stores the enquiry as a lead for CIT's sales follow-up.
- An SMTP email notification sends the submitted details to CIT's configured mailbox.
- Google reCAPTCHA receives an anti-spam token and returns a risk score before a form is accepted.
- Google's Gemini service processes chatbot messages and conversation history to produce replies and identify a complete lead.
- Google Analytics receives website usage and successful form or chatbot interaction events.
- PostHog receives agency-site page views and a successful quote event after Appwrite creates the lead, without the submitted form details.
Why CIT uses this information
CIT uses it to answer questions, prepare a consultation or quote, keep an enquiry in the sales pipeline, understand which pages and campaigns produce requests, improve the buyer journey, and protect forms from automated abuse.
Retention and your requests
CIT has not published a fixed retention period for website enquiries. You can ask CIT to review, correct, or delete information held about your enquiry by emailing contact@cit.org.in or using the contact page. CIT will identify the records it controls and respond to the request based on the information available.
Your choices
You do not have to submit a contact form, quote request, or chatbot contact details. You can also use browser controls to limit cookies or similar storage, although some measurement or form-protection features may then work differently.
Changes to this notice
CIT will update this page when the website's collection or processing changes. The date above records the current version. Website use is also covered by the Terms of Service.
